Lewisville Short Term Rental Ordinance Proposals

The city of Lewisville has prepared a proposed ordinance change and will be asking for residents input on Monday 27th of November 2023.

The proposals are a response to ongoing complaints from residents about the nuisance short term rentals bring to neighborhoods (effectively these are hotels disguised as short term rentals) - especially those with no onsite management, which lead to abuse, loud parties, screaming and other disruptions of the neighborhoods.

Please join the Texas Neighborhood Coalition at City council this Monday to provide feedback on the proposals - This is the link to the agenda ans documents for the meeting:

"The City invites you to give input during a public hearing concerning Short Term Rentals at the Public Input Meeting at City Hall, on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. located at 151 W. Church Street, Lewisville, Texas. The City is seeking input from the public on potential regulation of STRs. Attached you will find the Agenda for November 27, 2023, along with the PowerPoint presentation for this meeting."
